After car-crash, one of the major cause of vehicle-related deaths in children is heatstroke. In compared to adults, children’s body heats up 3 to 5 times faster making them more vulnerable to heat. Just in 20 minutes, a car can heat up to 20 degrees F. When the temperature reaches up to 104 F, a child’s organ starts to shut down.

Vehicular heatstroke is something we all need to be serious about. The season right now might not be summer, however, to know the dangers of vehicular heatstroke and to remember the prevention is equally important in all the seasons.
